We currently have space on a Thursday and have opened a waiting list in preparation for when we open sessions on a Tuesday and Friday.

The session times are 10am to 4pm.
The current cost for a full day session is £57.76.

informal chat / visit
In order to ensure The Orchard is the correct service for you we encourage you to contact us to have an informal discussion or arrange a visit.
This will give you an opportunity to find out more about the centre and discuss your needs. If you would prefer, a family member can do this on your behalf.
The Day Services Manager will be able to provide you with all of the information you need.

IF REQUIRED - SECURE FUNDING
You may be able to get support with funding for the service. To do this you will need to speak to your Social Worker. If you don't have a Social Worker you can ask for one to be allocated through your GP or you can self refer. In Northumberland this is done via One Call:

complete referral forms
If you are able to proceed, complete the referral form in as much detail as possible. These forms will be either sent out to you or can be downloaded below. If applicable please also provide a CSP1 document. This information can be returned via email to the Day Services Manager.

taster sessions
You will be invited to attend two free taster sessions. We ask that you attend these sessions with a family member or a member of your support team.
These sessions are an excellent way to take part and meet other attendees - they are a way to ensure The Orchard is the right service for you.

session allocated
The Day Services Manager will liaise with you, family members and professionals to complete final paperwork, consisting of contracts and a personal risk assessment.
Once this has all been completed your session(s) will be allocated and a start date will be confirmed.
