We recently visited Talkin Tarn in Cumbria, We did a circular walk around the lake in the morning, observing all of the changes in the trees, it was a beautifully sunny morning but still very cold. We saw the observatory and enjoyed looking out of the boat house identifying all of different birds.

There were lots of swans and signets on the Tarn. We even enjoyed our lunch out in the sunshine and met some very friendly dogs, then completed a walk that took us through through the woodlands. Lovely day had by all.
